I love the picture you chose. Makes me SO curious to know what happens in your book!

Thank you, Lori. There is much more about the book in other blog entries, even some excerpts. :) I would welcome your opinion. :)

Really nice cover. Is that a moneybag in his hand?

I like the play on words with 'can he earn her trust?'

Rachel Rossano said...

Thanks, J. L. Campbell. :) His hand is on his sword, but a money bag is hanging further forward on his belt.

Awesome cover! Totally get a visual of what the book's about. I'm a new follower and contestant stopping by to take a look :)

Thank you, Lady Gwen. :) I have found that covers are very like books, the creator is frequently convinced it could have been better. :)

I really enjoyed your Power of Tension excerpt. I will be poking around to learn more. :)

Hi,

Great cover! It implies period novel, and the title and sub-title afford insight to content. ;)

Thank you, Francine, for the observations. I appreciate knowing how others perceive it. :) The book is a fantasy masquerading as a historical, no paranormal stuff, just a setting that never existed. :)

Interesting cover and the line "Can he earn her trust?" is just the right touch.

Rachel Rossano said...

Thank you, Scheherazade. :) I really love the name of your blog, by the way.

Thank you, Dawn.

Thank you, Elizabeth. I really liked your entry too. It is dramatic and, from the description of the book, appropriate. :)

This is great! Love the leather on his wrist!

Rachel Rossano said...

Thanks, RaShelle, I like it too. It is much better than an expanse of bare arm. :)

This is such a professional-looking book cover!! I also really like the title graphic...really seems to fit the cover and the setting/time period, which can be inferred from the character's attire. Also I agree, the image is awesome.
